Adobe AIR 2.0 Desktop Integration

December 15, 2009 — 2 Comments

This video at Adobe’s Web site previews two of the file system additions forthcoming in Adobe AIR 2.0. It’s only six minutes long but shows some cool new features for launching files and for accessing mounted drives. The specific code being used is Flex, but the same functionality will be capable using Ajax, too.

  1. Well, the video is dead for me in multiple browsers, not funny that a Flash video is broken on the Adobe website that is showcasing AIR… or is it? =)

    • I disagree. That’s hilarious! Not good funny but… Maybe we should take this as a reassuring sign that even Adobe gets egg on its face once in a while?

Comments are great, but I'd strongly prefer any requests for assistance get made in the support forums. Thanks!
