JKerr
I am reading the book using the Kindle App for a Windows PC. I ran into errors in my code when I typed in the samples, and discovered that dashes do not show up on the Kindle screen, but instead there are spaces, which is problematic to say the least. Suggestions? Is there a known solution? Thanks Joe
Larry
Hey Joe, Sorry to hear about that. Could you provide a specific example of code that includes dashes (or should), but ends up as a space in the Kindle edition?
JKerr
Hi, Yes, script 1.2 is an example, location 554 of 10995 (not sure the page references work depending on how I sized the screen.) I can send a screen shot if you provide an e-mail. I don't see a way to attach here. Thanks Joe
JKerr
Hi, Larry Any word on this? Thanks Joe
Larry
Hey Joe, Sorry for the delay. I've passed your feedback on to the publisher. I'm not sure when/if/how this would be fixed, however. (Authors know surprisingly little about the whole process, and have even less influence or control.) I'd recommend also contacting them yourself, as they tend to take the input of readers more seriously than that coming second-hand. Sorry I can't do more for you!
